We got some White Lightning Vegan Chili on the stove and here is the recipe:
Cook white beans and pinto beans, enough for 8 cups when cooked.
Drain and add about 8 cups vegetable broth, 2 spoons sugar, or 3 tablespoons maple syrup, carrots, parsley, cilantro, oregano, onions, garlic and 6 ounces of chopped peppers. (Serrano and Chipotle are wonderful). I also add Cajun seasoning, and extra red pepper powder, because we like it HOT.
Bring it all to a boil , reduce heat and simmer for about 45 minutes.
When ready serve with hot sauce and crusty French bread which which will help take the heat away,and Oh La La Y'all!
